Our Story

A refuge by design

We are a one-property company, and we intend to keep it that way. We own and operate a duplex in Central Minneapolis — two fully furnished 2-bedroom units, each with its own personality — and we rent to people who are genuinely adding something to this community.

We are not a luxury brand. But we believe that beauty and comfort matter, especially when you're far from home doing something hard. Our spaces are calm by design. The beds are comfortable, the TVs and fridges are generous, and nearly everything you see has been upcycled or thoughtfully sourced. We love transforming spaces — and we think it shows.

We especially welcome healthcare professionals, professors, artists, immigrants, graduate students, and anyone here doing something meaningful for Minneapolis. We're glad to host patients seeking top-tier medical care in the metro, and families navigating housing transitions.

Pets and kids are welcome. Events, parties, and smoking are not. This is a peaceful, family-friendly environment.
